I created some magic: a couple of days ago, I was falling down the rabbit hole of a little pity-party (feeling sorry for myself). I was going along the party when one of the things I was telling myself jerked me out of the hole: it was something like “No one loves me”. And that is so untrue that it invalidated all the other negative thoughts that were going on at the same time. It was amazing how my mood shifted instantaneously.
And that got me to being grateful for all the caring I receive. How did I get so lucky?

I had serendipitous moment:
I went to a new supermarket where I had never been before and I bumped into a friend who also never shop there. We live in the same area of town, but it is the first time I bump into her.
I am grateful for the fun experience!

My 365 gratitude posts project, for me, is about enjoying being alive, appreciating my life. Today, I realize that there are a multitude of little ways to enjoy being alive. (PM me if you want ideas). There is not one way or one thing that will make me appreciate my life once and for all but rather the sum of all the little things that I experience, notice, appreciate create an enjoyable life.
I am grateful for the sum of the little things (I love math)!

Today in the lunchroom, someone said “we can’t complain about the weather”
I said jokingly: “that’s OK, there is so much more to complain about.”
And he replied: “No one listens, anyway”. So I said victoriously: “ that’s right so we might as well talk about gratitude!” Mouaaaah!
I am grateful for making myself laugh!
