Despite the gray sky, there are some breathtaking sights of spring flowers. The lilac is about to blossom. I love the smell of lilacs.
I am grateful for standing on a blanket of petals.

I was in class this week-end. I love classes. Especially this one. They give me a sense that more is possible.
I am grateful for playing and friendshiping.

My 365 gratitude posts project, for me, is about enjoying being alive, appreciating my life. Today, I realize that there are a multitude of little ways to enjoy being alive. (PM me if you want ideas). There is not one way or one thing that will make me appreciate my life once and for all but rather the sum of all the little things that I experience, notice, appreciate create an enjoyable life.
I am grateful for the sum of the little things (I love math)!

Today in the lunchroom, someone said “we can’t complain about the weather”
I said jokingly: “that’s OK, there is so much more to complain about.”
And he replied: “No one listens, anyway”. So I said victoriously: “ that’s right so we might as well talk about gratitude!” Mouaaaah!
I am grateful for making myself laugh!

I received a wonderful compliment yesterday: a woman who works in my building at the end of our conversation told me: My eyes are happy when I see you. Gratitude!

In class this past weekend, the facilitator talked about the difference between spending time versus investing time. This is another question that am I grateful for: what would it take to invest my time in what makes me feel fully alive?
Gratitude 331:
Tonight, instead of eating my avocado straight away, I took the time to make guacamole. I am grateful for the time invested: it was even more delicious than the plain avocado!

I took a little gratitude posts break. I was still doing the exercise of asking myself what I was grateful for about my day, but I was not inspired in writing about it. Then this weekend I was in class and I heard some pretty inspiring questions. It made me consider what is the most important for me. For me, today the most important is to live fully. What does it take for me to consider that I live fully? I realize that this is different for everyone.
I am grateful for the question.
